1. About SmartMaidsKe
SmartMaidsKe is a recruitment facilitation platform that assists Kenyan domestic workers seeking employment opportunities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar. We work with licensed recruitment partners, UAE Tadbeer centres, and verified Qatar employers.
2. Eligibility
To apply through SmartMaidsKe, you must:
- Be legally eligible for overseas employment (ages 20–38)
- Meet age and health requirements set by UAE and Qatar regulations
- Hold a valid Kenyan passport
- Provide a UAE/Qatar embassy-attested Police Clearance Certificate
- Pass an approved medical examination
3. Application Process
Submission of an application does not guarantee employment. Job placement depends on employer requirements, background checks, medical clearance, and visa approval by UAE or Qatar authorities.
4. Accuracy of Information
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information, documents, and photographs are accurate and genuine. Providing false or misleading information may result in immediate disqualification and may constitute a criminal offence under applicable law.
5. Fees & Payments
SmartMaidsKe does not charge unauthorized recruitment fees. The applicant is only responsible for the cost of their return ticket after visa approval. Any fees required for medical tests, documentation, or travel will be communicated transparently and in accordance with Kenyan labour laws and the regulations of the destination country.
⚠️ Any person or agency claiming to charge fees on behalf of SmartMaidsKe without written authorisation should be reported to us immediately.
6. No Guarantee of Employment
SmartMaidsKe does not guarantee job placement, salary levels, duration of employment, or employer selection. Final decisions rest with UAE and Qatar employers and relevant government authorities.
7. Employer Terms
Employers registering a hiring request on our platform confirm that:
- They are legally authorised to employ domestic workers in their jurisdiction
- All information provided is accurate and complete
- They will comply with UAE, Qatar, and international domestic worker employment laws
- Workers placed will be treated with dignity and respect
8. Data Protection
Personal data collected through this platform is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws in Kenya, UAE, and Qatar.
9. User Conduct
Users agree not to misuse the platform, submit fraudulent information, impersonate another person, or engage in activities that may harm SmartMaidsKe, its staff, partners, or other users.
10. Limitation of Liability
SmartMaidsKe shall not be liable for delays, losses, or outcomes resulting from visa decisions, employer actions, government regulations, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the SmartMaidsKe website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of SmartMaidsKe and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.
12. Termination
SmartMaidsKe reserves the right to suspend or terminate applications, employer accounts, or access to the platform for users who violate these Terms and Conditions or applicable laws.
13. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on our website.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, with due regard to international recruitment regulations applicable to UAE and Qatar employment.
